If you are looking for the best places for outdoor dining at Disney World you have found the list! Not only do all of these Disney restaurants offer outdoor dining, but they have good food and even some coverage from the Florida sun.

There are a few restaurants with outdoor seating at Disney World that did not make my list, but here we are only going to focus on the best! And if I had to pick the best outdoor dining at Disney it would be Rose & Crown, Homecomin’, and Satu’li Canteen. They, along with these others, offer great views, coverage from sun and rain, and some of the best food at Disney World.

Here is my list of the BEST outdoor dining at Disney!

Almost all of the Magic Kingdom outdoor dining options are quick service, but I don’t think that is a bad thing. It’s such a busy park that it is nice to be able to grab great, quick meals and maybe even get some coverage from the outdoors!

Tony’s Town Square

This sit down restaurant at Disney World has a covered patio and you should request to be seated outdoors when you check in as there is also indoor seating. Tony’s Town Square is located on Main Street USA., and when you sit outside, you can people watch or even parade watch if you manage to snag a seat during the Festival of Fantasy Parade!

You can make a reservation for Tony’s Town Square and I recommend you do if you want outdoor dining with table service while inside Magic Kingdom. So grab some yummy Italian food, watch a parade, and relax at the only table service restaurant at Magic Kingdom with outdoor dining.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Tavern Inn & Cafe

This quick service location serves up southwestern food and offers mobile ordering. Mobile ordering is one of the greatest technology additions to Disney and I cannot recommend it enough. You will find both indoor and outdoor dining at this Magic Kingdom restaurant.

Located in Frontierland, this is a great place to grab a bite to eat after riding Pirates of the Caribbean or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and the outdoor seating is all covered! The delicious, consistent menu and ample seating is why it’s one of the best restaurants at Magic Kingdom with outdoor seating.

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe

This quick service outdoor dining at Disney is located in Tomorrowland and serves American food – think burgers and chicken sandwiches. But the food is sometimes unique, and Disney loves to launch fun, seasonal burgers here!
This outdoor dining spot also has mobile ordering and plenty of outdoor seating. This is a great place to take a break because it’s halfway between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, as well as there’s never a shortage of seats!

Pinocchio Village Haus

Pinocchio Village Haus is a quick service restaurant with mobile ordering, and has plenty of tables with umbrellas outside. The space is great and the flatbreads they offer are very good! They even have plant-based options!

Pinocchio Village Haus is located in Fantasyland. This outdoor dining at Disney option does also have indoor dining, but just grab a table outside after you pick up your food.

The Lunching Pad

The Lunching Pad is technically a snack shop, but with good food, mobile ordering, and so many outside tables, included covered tables, it earns a spot on the list. The Lunching Pad can be found in Tomorrowland.
The Lunching Pad is great though, because not only can you get a delicious hot dog or pretzel here, but it is one of the places that serves breakfast! This definitely makes it one of our favorite places for outdoor seating at Disney.

Gaston’s Tavern

Gaston’s Tavern is another snack stop and this one has three famous items on the menu! First, the Grey Stuff Cupcake (it’s delicious!), the giant cinnamon roll, and the LeFou’s Brew (no alcohol). There’s some little umbrella tables outside for enjoying your snacks, and that’s a much better option than the crowded inside!
Gaston’s Tavern is located in the back of Fantasyland.

Liberty Square Market

Liberty Square Market is located in Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom is not new to the outdoor dining at Disney scene. This is another quick service snack shop, but it always comes through with a healthy option so it deserves a spot on this list.
You can grab a classic Disney snack like a Mickey pretzel or a turkey leg, or you can find yogurt, fresh fruit, and trail mix on the menu here. Liberty Square Market is full of tables with umbrellas for your stop and snack needs.

Sleepy Hollow

Just a few steps away from Liberty Market Square you will find Sleepy Hollow. This quick service snack shop serves up some of the best snacks in Magic Kingdom! The fresh fruit waffle sandwich and the sweet-and-spicy chicken waffle sandwich are MUST HAVES here.
You’ll find lots of outdoor seating here, and it’s a great spot to watch the fireworks and castle projections at night! So grab a funnel cake, watch the fireworks, and enjoy some of the best outdoor dining at Disney.

Storybook Treats

Ice Cream! Do I have your attention? Storybook Treats is a quick service snack shop in Fantasyland that serves up soft serve ice cream and floats.
Storybook Treats has a covered area with outdoor tables. Ice cream in the Florida heat is always a necessity, but add in covering seating and it’s the ideal stop during a long day at Magic Kingdom.

Best Outdoor Dining at Epcot

Epcot has always been, and probably will always be, the best food park in Disney World. Home to the World Showcase, you can gobble up food from all over the world. All of my best outdoor dining at Disney World options for Epcot are located in the World Showcase.

Rose and Crown Dining Room

Rose and Crown is located in the United Kingdom Pavilion of the World Showcase and is always one of the best dining options, indoors or outside. Rose and Crown is one of the best restaurants at EPCOT with outdoor seating because of the beautiful lagoon and firework views.
Rose and Crown is a table service restaurant serving up British fare. It also has outdoor shaded and covered dining right on the lagoon. Rose and Crown is also very vegetarian and vegan friendly so the perfect meal stop for anyone with a dietary restriction.

Spice Road Table

Spice Road Table is located in the Morocco Pavilion of the World Showcase and is another fan favorite! It serves up delicious Mediterranean food, and has some of the best outdoor dining at Disney too!
This is a popular place to grab a table to watch the fireworks, so we definitely recommend getting a reservation so that you have a table reserved for fireworks viewing!

La Cantina de San Angel

La Cantina de San Angel, located in the Mexico Pavilion of the World Showcase, is one of my favorite stops when drinking around the world. This quick service location has an amazing covered patio right on the lagoon. This makes it a popular place for fireworks viewing too!
The food here is so good too! Great tacos, guacamole, and good margaritas!

Tutto Italia Ristorante

Located in the Italy Pavilion, Tutto Italia Ristorante, is a table service restaurant focused on traditional Italian dishes. You can make a reservation for Tutto Italia Ristorante and I recommend it all year round. You will need to request an outdoor table at check in as this restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining.
Tutto Italia has a large outdoor covered patio with roll down canopy walls that can be lowered in the rain or to block sun. Also, the prices are a little higher than some of our other choices, so this can be great for a date night or special occasion!

Katsura Grill

Katsura Grill is located in the Japan Pavilion of the World Showcase and also has a covered patio area, as well as tables with umbrellas right outside the restaurant. This is also another quick service location in the World Showcase and a perfect stop for a snack and drink as you travel the world.
You can find sushi on the menu here, but I encourage you to try something a bit more traditional – the Tonkotsu ramen, miso soup, and chicken curry are all really good. Katsura Grill tops my list for not only a best outdoor dining at Disney option, it is also a top quick service restaurant in Disney World for me!
I love this restaurant because you can enjoy delicious food, sit outside in the Japanese gardens, and you almost forget you’re at a theme park surrounded by all the beauty!

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

Regal Eagle Smokehouse is located in the American Pavilion, in the middle of the World Showcase. This quick service stop serves up BBQ and American beer and wine. With only one vegetarian/vegan item (salad does not count), this is for the meat lovers.
Regal Eagle Smokehouse has tables – both shaded and with umbrellas.
Based on its location in the middle of the World Showcase, this is a good stop during your around the world adventure. And because of the ample seating and good barbecue, this is one of the best restaurants at EPCOT with outdoor seating.

Via Napoli

Via Napoli, located in the Italy Pavilion of the World Showcase, is a table service restaurant with limited outdoor tables. You will need to request an outdoor table when you check in, as they have indoor tables as well.
Via Napoli serves up pastas and salads, but the brick oven pizzas are really the focus. You can’t beat their made to order pizzas, and it’s a great pick for outdoor dining in Disney World.

Best Outdoor Dining at Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios has some great outdoor dining options, and honestly some very consistently good food! We think it’s worth grabbing a meal outdoors here, taking a break from the intense and thrilling rides!

Backlot Express

Backlot Express is located in Echo Lake at Hollywood Studios. This quick service stop has mobile ordering and a covered seating area that is outside, as well as indoor seating. The outdoor seating is never as busy, and you can almost always find a table to relax at here.

The food is reliable and delicious traditional fare like burgers and chicken strips, but the teriyaki bowls and salads are standouts here!

Baseline Tap House

Baseline Tap House is located in Grand Avenue at Hollywood Studios serves up California beer and snacks. Think craft brew pub meets Disney.

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is located in Galaxy’s Edge, and this quick service restaurant offers mobile ordering and has a large shaded area for outdoor dining.

This has the best food in Galaxy’s Edge, and honestly is one of the best restaurants at Hollywood Studios with outdoor seating. The food is unique, somewhat adventurous, but extremely delicious! I recommend the Batman Beef, Endorian Tip Yip, and the Outpost Puff for dessert!

Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge

Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is the only table service restaurant in Hollywood Studios with outdoor dining. That being said, it is the same menu as the Hollywood Brown Derby and the same prices! It is a more expensive restaurant, so keep that in mind when grabbing a table here.

Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is located in Hollywood Boulevard and has a lot of great outdoor seating. If you want food, think twice before waiting for a table here. If you want a cocktail break, definitely stop.

PizzeRizzo

PizzeRizzo, located in Grand Avenue, serves pizza, subs, and salads. This quick service restaurant accepts mobile ordering and has two floors of outdoor covered dining.

PizzeRizzo is my pick for the best outdoor dining at Hollywood Studios for a family. Order ahead, grab a table outdoors, and enjoy your pizza in the shade. Don’t skip the cannoli for a treat at the end of your meal.

Best Outdoor Dining at Animal Kingdom

The food at Animal Kingdom is amazing and continues to improve. Animal Kingdom is also a very outdoor-centric park. It makes sense that the outdoor dining at Animal Kingdom provides a lot of really good options.

Satu’li Canteen

Satu’li Canteen is located in Pandora – the World of Avatar – and serves healthy, flavorful, and unique dishes that you will truly think is from another planet! While you can dine inside here, there are also tables outdoors which are covered with a roof.

Here you will build your own bowls, and can choose from beef, chicken, shrimp, or even tofu amongst several unique combinations. This is some of the best food in the park, not just one of the best restaurants at Animal Kingdom with outdoor seating.

Nomad Lounge & Cocktail Bar

Nomad Lounge, located on Discovery Island, is right next to the famous Tiffins. It’s the lounge of Tiffins, and offers delicious food and drinks in a covered, beautiful location. The view out onto the water with the greenery around is stunning.
Nomad Lounge serves an Animal Kingdom melting pot – a bit of African, a bit of Asian, and a bit of Latin food. Think cocktails and small plates. I think the appetizers here are more than enough to fill you up, especially if you get more than one and share, and the food is really good. The drinks put it over the top.

Flame Tree Barbecue

Flame Tree Barbecue is located on Discovery Island and is a quick service restaurant serving up barbecue platters and even barbecue topped mac-and-cheese. Mobile ordering is accepted here and there is an outdoor covered seating area.

While there is one plant based option, this is a great place for the meat lovers. You can also get both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The delicious food and great covered seating makes this some of our favorite outdoor seating at Disney.

Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe

Around the corner from the Yak and Yeti table service restaurant, the quick service option has some of the best food in Animal Kingdom! If you can’t get a reservation at the table service, you can’t go wrong grabbing a meal here.

There are tables with shade and coverage allowing you to escape the sun for your meal. And there are A LOT of tables hidden back behind the restaurant!

The menu has a lot of great Asian dishes, and I love the chicken fried rice, the honey sesame chicken , and the sweet-and-sour tempura shrimp. This is definitely one of the best restaurants with outdoor seating at Disney World.

This quick service spot serves up African-inspired rice bowls, salads, and even beef and lamb kofta pitas! It’s consistently good and great for those looking for some adventurous and flavorful.

When outdoor dining at Disney Springs is your plan, here the best restaurants for you to visit!

Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant

Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant is a great restaurant at Disney Springs and the outdoor dining space is something special. This table service restaurant is located in The Landing at Disney Springs and serves up Irish food.
There is a large outdoor space at Raglan Road with a lot of tables with umbrellas. This is some of the best outdoor dining at Disney Springs because the food and drinks are delicious, as well as there’s always some great entertainment!

Disney Food Trucks

Food Trucks are always awesome and the Disney Springs Food Trucks are no exception. The Disney Food Trucks are located in The West Side of Disney Springs and they are a great option for a cheap, but really good, meal especially for outdoor dining.
Right now you will find three Disney Food Trucks open for your eating fun – 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa, GoJuice, and Cilantro Urban Eatery. These change often, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app to see what’s there!

The BOATHOUSE

The BOATHOUSE is located in The Landing at Disney Springs, and has both indoor and outdoor dining. The outside tables are right on the water, and have a great view of Saratoga Springs and the water surrounding Disney Springs.
This table service restaurant highly recommends you make a reservation and is it not cheap. The Boathouse is a fine dining restaurant with a focus on seafood and steak. If you are looking for a really nice meal and you want to dine outside, this is it! It’s some of the best outdoor dining in Orlando, let alone just Disney!

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ makes the list because it has comfort food and a lot of outside seating – both a covered patio and uncovered outdoor tables. This farm-to-table restaurant is a table service restaurant, but is a more casual choice in Disney Springs.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is located in The Landing in Disney Springs, and has some of the best food at Disney Springs! Delicious, comforting, home cooked kind of food. Get the fried chicken, mac-and-cheese, and a cocktail made with moonshine! It’s a must whenever I go to Disney, and they even serve brunch on the weekends!
The spectacular food and ample tables outdoors makes this one of our favorite table service restaurants at Disney World with outdoor seating!

Paddlefish

Paddlefish, located in The Landing at Disney Springs is a good outdoor dining choice if you are okay without shade/coverage. Paddlefish serves seafood and steaks for lunch and dinner and is a table service restaurant.
Reservations are strongly recommended, and this is one of the pricier options at Disney Springs. This is a great option for special occasions, and when the weather is nice outside!

D-Luxe Burger

This quick service restaurant is located at the Town Center and is another great affordable option for a meal in Disney Springs. It does have a big fan base, so you might have to wait.
D-Luxe Burger has a covered patio for your outdoor dining needs and the food is really good! D Luxe Burger has “normal” burgers, but it also offers fun, seasonal burgers and they are mouth-watering. You can also get a shake with booze and they offer a plant based burger so there is something for everyone.

Best Outdoor Dining at Disney Resorts

There are so many Disney Resorts with fantastic dining! Exploring Disney hotels is also a great, free, activity for a Disney World trip, especially on a no-park day.

Geyser Point Bar & Grill

Geyser Point Bar & Grill can be found at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and is considered a pool bar – but the food is anything but standard pool bar food! It’s exciting and adventurous – the bison cheeseburger, crab cake, and wings are very popular here.

Geyser Point is a really good choice for outdoor dining at Disney if you want a later meal. You can grab appetizers and burgers until later in the evening and since it is quick service, you can make a last minute decision to go. Plus the atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous, and that makes it one of our favorite choices for outdoor restaurants at Disney World.

Trattoria al Forno Restaurant

Trattoria al Forno Restaurant is a casual Italian restaurant located at Disney’s BoardWalk. Trattoria al Forno even serves breakfast – a rarity for table service restaurants.

Trattoria al Forno has outdoor seating and a beautiful view of the lake. They serve authentic Italian food, and we recommend getting a seat here during sunset. It’s a great time to enjoy the breeze off the water and the changing colors of the sky.

large boardwalk hotel on the water with a boat in front

Three Bridges Bar and Grill

Located at Disney’s Coronado Springs, Three Bridges Bar and Grill has a massive outdoor, open air, patio with stunning views. It’s situated on Villa Del Lago, right in the middle of the lake. Open for dinner and drinks, Three Bridges serves up unique and adventurous Latin food.

The food here is just as epic as the stunning views, and we can’t recommend this when it comes to outdoor seating restaurants in Orlando, especially for adults! If you have never been to Three Bridges, you should definitely check it out, especially for outdoor dining.

Be sure to try a shareable appetizer and save room for churros, and don’t forget to get a sangria!

I hope you found a few great options for eating outdoors at Disney from my list! These are some of our favorites, and we hope that they become your favorites for outdoor dining at Disney World too! You can’t go wrong eating out of the Florida sun or rain, and enjoying a great atmosphere.
