Outdoor dining at Disney is pretty much always great, but in these unprecedent times (how much do you hate that saying by now?) it is even more critical. While outdoor dining restaurants at Disney have always existed, they have never received as much as attention as they do now.
If you are looking for the best places for outdoor dining at Disney World you have found the best list! Not only do all of these Disney restaurants offer outdoor dining, but they have good food and some coverage from the Florida sun.
There are a few restaurants with outdoor seating at Disney World that did not make my list, mostly quick service spots. Keep in mind that under the reopening guidelines you cannot eat or drink and walk at Disney World, so you will need to find a place to sit to eat or drink during your visit!
Here is my list of the BEST 40 places for outdoor dining at Disney!

40 Best Places for Outdoor Dining at Disney
Best Outdoor Dining at Magic Kingdom

Tony’s Town Square
This sit down restaurant at Disney World has a covered patio and you should request to be seated outdoors when you check in as there is also indoor seating. The menus for Tony’s Town Square can be found HERE! Tony’s Town Square is located on Main Street USA. You can make a reservation for Tony’s Town Square and I recommend you do if you want outdoor dining with table service while inside Magic Kingdom.
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Tavern Inn & Cafe
This quick service location serves up southwestern food and offers mobile ordering. Mobile ordering is one of the greatest technology additions to Disney and I cannot recommend it enough. You will find both indoor and outdoor dining at this Magic Kingdom restaurant.

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
Pinocchio Village Haus
Pinocchio Village Haus is a quick service restaurant with mobile ordering (yay!) with plenty of tables with umbrellas to enjoy your food and drink at. It does have very limited menu, but the space is great and the food they do have is really good. Pinocchio Village Haus is located in Fantasyland. This outdoor dining at Disney option does also have indoor dining, but just grab a table outside after you pick up your food.
Here is a quick link to the Pinocchio Village Haus MENUS. You will find flatbreads here and even a delicious vegan flatbread option!
The Lunching Pad

Tomorrowland Terrace
I know this may be shocking, but the Tomorrowland Terrace is located in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom. This is a great outdoor dining at Disney option since it has so much outdoor seating!
The menu at Tomorrowland Terrace is very fish focused and the lobster roll is definitely worth a stop. Tomorrowland Terrace is also taking mobile orders so you can pick up your pre-order and grab a nice outdoor dining spot and enjoy!
Gaston’s Tavern

Liberty Square Market
Sleepy Hollow

Storybook Treats

Best Outdoor Dining at Epcot
Epcot has always been, and probably will always be, the best food park in Disney World. Home to the World Showcase, you can gobble up food from all over the world. All of my best outdoor dining at Disney World options for Epcot are located in the World Showcase.
Now grab a drink (alcohol not required) and go eat your way around the world while dining al fresco the entire time!
The outdoor dining at Disney options located in Epcot are a good mix between table service and quick dining, so you are more likely to be able to have a table service meal outside in Epcot.
Rose and Crown Dining Room

Spice Road Table

La Cantina de San Angel
Tutto Italia Ristorante

Katsura Grill

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

Via Napoli

Best Outdoor Dining at Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios has the fewest outdoor dining options at Disney right now, but they are slowly reopening more and more stops each month. There is only one table service option with outdoor dining, but there a few quick service options too.
Backlot Express
Backlot Express is located in Echo Lake at Hollywood Studios. This quick service stop has mobile ordering and a covered seating area.
Serving up American food, you can grab a reliable meal here like a burger or salad. Check out the menu HERE.
Baseline Tap House
Baseline Tap House is located in Grand Avenue at Hollywood Studios and is a new addition to the park! Baseline is a welcome new addition – serving up California beer and snacks. Think craft brew pub meets Disney.
Baseline Tap House is a quick service restaurant, but serves up drinks and snacks only – no entrees. There are outdoor tables for your outdoor dining at Disney needs.
Baseline Tap House’s menu is great for any beer fan for sure.
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is the only dining option in Galaxy’s Edge to make the list. This quick service restaurant offers mobile ordering and has a large shaded area for outdoor dining.
If you really want to eat outdoors and in Galaxy’s Edge, arguably the best part of Hollywood Studios, Docking Bay is your spot.
Check out the full menu HERE.
Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge
Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is the only table service restaurant in Hollywood Studios with outdoor dining right now. That being said, the only thing on this menu is drinks! If you want a cocktail, this is definitely your ideal Hollywood Studios break for outdoor dining.
Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is located in Hollywood Boulevard and has a lot of great outdoor seating. If you want food, think twice before waiting for a table here. If you want a cocktail break, definitely stop.
Check out the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge menu HERE.
PizzeRizzo
PizzeRizzo, located in Grand Avenue, serves pizza, of course, and Italian subs. This quick service restaurant accepts mobile ordering and has two floors of outdoor covered dining.
PizzeRizzo is my pick for the best outdoor dining at Hollywood Studios for a family. Order ahead, grab a table outdoors, and enjoy your pizza in the shade. Don’t skip the cannoli for a treat at the end of your meal.
Check out the PizzeRixzzo menu HERE.
Best Outdoor Dining at Animal Kingdom
The food at Animal Kingdom is amazing and continues to improve. Animal Kingdom is also a very outdoor-centric park. It makes sense that the outdoor dining at Animal Kingdom provides a lot of really good options.
Satu’li Canteen
Satu’li Canteen is located in Pandora – the World of Avatar – and serves American food, but think really good and elevated American food. While you can dine inside here, there are also tables outdoors which are covered with a roof.
This quick service restaurant offers mobile ordering and serves really good bowls – vegetarian, kid, and meat-eater friendly.
Check out the full menu HERE.
Pongu Pongu
Another great outdoor dining option in Pandora is Pongu Pongu. This quick service restaurant has the coolest drinks! Pongu Pongu is also a rare outdoor dining at Disney option that serves up breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner.
The menu is pretty small, but Pongu Pongu is a great snack stop and the drinks alone are worth it. Pongu Pongu does not technically have it’s own outdoor dining seating, but you can bring your food and drink over to the Canteen and sit in the outdoor dining area.
Check out the menus HERE.
Nomad Lounge & Cocktail Bar
Flame Tree BBQ
Flame Tree BBQ is located on Discovery Island and is a quick service restaurant serving up BBQ. Mobile ordering is accepted here and there is an outdoor covered seating area.
While there is one plant based option, this is a place for the meat lovers. The menu is pretty good especially for a quick service stop. You can also get both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Yak and Yeti
Yak and Yeti is a table service restaurant, which accepts reservations, located in Asia in Animal Kingdom. Like many outdoor dining at Disney options, this restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining so you will need to request outdoor seating at check in.
There are tables with shade and coverage allowing you to escape the sun for your meal. Annual Passholders get a discount at Yak and Yeti as well.
The menu here is really big and is graced with a lot of really good Asian food – find it HERE. I think Yak and Yeti serves up some of the best food in Animal Kingdom so I am grateful for the outdoor option.

Best Outdoor Dining at Disney Resorts
There are so many Disney Resorts with dining, but in current times, many are closed and many do not have outdoor dining. Exploring Disney hotels is a great, free, activity for a Disney World trip, especially on a no-park day.
Below are the best spots for outdoor dining at Disney Resorts right now!
Topolino’s Terrace
Topolino’s Terrace is located at Disney’s Riviera Resort and serves French and Italian food. This is a fine dining restaurant and reservations are highly recommended. Topolino’s Terrace serves breakfast and dinner, but no lunch.
Topolino’s Terrace has outdoor dining on a rooftop with beautiful views. Do note that this fine dining restaurant has a dress code so be sure to check that before you head over.
While it has a higher price point, Topolino’s Terrace’s food is worth it. A visit here also gives you a great reason to check out the new(ish) Disney Riviera Resort.
Geyser Point Bar & Grill
Geyser Point Bar & Grill can be found at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and is a quick service restaurant. Geyser Point serves rustic American food – think burgers, salads, and wings.
Geyser Point is a really good choice for outdoor dining at Disney if you want a later meal. You can grab appetizers and burgers until later in the evening and since it is quick service, you can make a last minute decision to go.
Check out the menus HERE and be sure to explore Disney’s Wilderness Lodge if you decide to have a meal at Geyser Point.
Trattoria al Forno Restaurant
Trattoria al Forno Restaurant is a casual Italian restaurant located at Disney’s BoardWalk. Trattoria al Forno serves breakfast – a rarity for outdoor dining at Disney options right now. Annual Passholders receive a discount when dining at Trattoria al Forno.
Trattoria al Forno has outdoor seating and a beautiful view of the lake. I highly recommend this restaurant for a sundowner or meal at sunset. Check out the menus HERE.
Three Bridges Bar and Grill
Located at Disney’s Coronado Springs, Three Bridges Bar and Grill has a massive outdoor, open air, patio with stunning views. Three Bridges is only open for dinner and serves up Latin food.
Three Bridges Bar and Grill offers an Annual Passport discount and has a drool-worthy menu. If you have never been to Three Bridges, you should definitely check it out, especially for outdoor dining.
Be sure to try a shareable appetizer and save room for churros!
