Outdoor dining at Disney is pretty much always great, but in these unprecedent times (how much do you hate that saying by now?) it is even more critical. While outdoor dining restaurants at Disney have always existed, they have never received as much as attention as they do now.

If you are looking for the best places for outdoor dining at Disney World you have found the best list! Not only do all of these Disney restaurants offer outdoor dining, but they have good food and some coverage from the Florida sun.

There are a few restaurants with outdoor seating at Disney World that did not make my list, mostly quick service spots. Keep in mind that under the reopening guidelines you cannot eat or drink and walk at Disney World, so you will need to find a place to sit to eat or drink during your visit!

Here is my list of the BEST 40 places for outdoor dining at Disney!

Almost all of the Magic Kingdom outdoor dining options are quick service, but I don’t think that is a bad thing.
Let’s start with the only table service restaurant at Magic Kingdom with outdoor dining – Tony’s Town Square.  Tony’s Town Square is offering table service and outdoor dining at Disney World located in Magic Kingdom.
Outdoor Dining at Disney Magic Kingdom

Tony’s Town Square

This sit down restaurant at Disney World has a covered patio and you should request to be seated outdoors when you check in as there is also indoor seating. The menus for Tony’s Town Square can be found HERE! Tony’s Town Square is located on Main Street USA.  You can make a reservation for Tony’s Town Square and I recommend you do if you want outdoor dining with table service while inside Magic Kingdom.

Here is a rundown of the best quick service outdoor dining in Magic Kingdom:

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Tavern Inn & Cafe

This quick service location serves up southwestern food and offers mobile ordering. Mobile ordering is one of the greatest technology additions to Disney and I cannot recommend it enough. You will find both indoor and outdoor dining at this Magic Kingdom restaurant.

You can find the Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe’s menus HERE.  Pecos Bill Tall Tale Tavern Inn & Cafe is located in Frontierland.
Outdoor Dining at Disney Peco's Bill

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe

This quick service outdoor dining at Disney is located in Tomorrowland and serves American food – think burgers and hot dogs. This outdoor dining spot also has mobile ordering and plenty of outdoor seating.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe’s menus can be found HERE.

Pinocchio Village Haus

Pinocchio Village Haus is a quick service restaurant with mobile ordering (yay!) with plenty of tables with umbrellas to enjoy your food and drink at. It does have very limited menu, but the space is great and the food they do have is really good.  Pinocchio Village Haus is located in Fantasyland. This outdoor dining at Disney option does also have indoor dining, but just grab a table outside after you pick up your food.

Here is a quick link to the Pinocchio Village Haus MENUS. You will find flatbreads here and even a delicious vegan flatbread option!

The Lunching Pad

The Lunching Pad is technically a snack shop, but with good food, mobile ordering, and so many outside tables, included covered tables, it earns a spot on the list. The Lunching Pad can be found in Tomorrowland.
Since this is a snack shop, the menu is small, but you can grab a pulled pork sandwich or Mickey pretzel here anytime!
Outdoor Dining at Disney Lunching Pad

Tomorrowland Terrace

I know this may be shocking, but the Tomorrowland Terrace is located in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom. This is a great outdoor dining at Disney option since it has so much outdoor seating!

The menu at Tomorrowland Terrace is very fish focused and the lobster roll is definitely worth a stop. Tomorrowland Terrace is also taking mobile orders so you can pick up your pre-order and grab a nice outdoor dining spot and enjoy!

Gaston’s Tavern

Gaston’s Tavern is another snack stop and this one has two famous items on the menu! First, the Grey Stuffed Cupcake (it’s delicious!) and the LeFou’s Brew (no alcohol). This quick service snack stop has some tasty times and outdoor tables. It does not have mobile ordering and the line can be quite long, so you may want to plan a stop here if you are really interested in trying the Brew!
Check out Gaston’s Tavern’s menu HERE. Gaston’s Tavern is located in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom.
Outdoor Dining at Disney Gaston's Tavern

Liberty Square Market

Liberty Square Market is located in Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom is not new to the outdoor dining at Disney scene. This is another quick service snack shop, but it always comes through with a healthy option so it deserves a spot on this list.
You can grab a classic Disney snack like a Mickey pretzel or a turkey leg, or you can find yogurt, fresh fruit, and trail mix on the menu here. Liberty Square Market is full of tables with umbrellas for your stop and snack needs.

Sleepy Hollow

Just a few steps away from Liberty Market Square you will find Sleepy Hollow, also located in Liberty Square. This quick service snack shop serves up sugar! Delicious sugar. At Sleepy Hollow you will find funnel cake and waffles on the menu all day, along with coffee specialty drinks.
Check out the Sleepy Hollow breakfast menu and snack menu – both will make you drool. Similar to many other quick service spots at Magic Kingdom you will find outdoor tables around Sleepy Hollow.
Outdoor Dining at Disney Sleepy Hollow

Storybook Treats

Ice Cream! Do I have your attention? Storybook Treats is a quick service snack shop in Fantasyland that serves up soft serve ice cream and floats.
Storybook Treats has a covered area with outdoor tables. Ice cream in the Florida heat is always a necessity, but add in covering seating and it’s the ideal stop during a long day at Magic Kingdom.
You can find the Storybook Treats menu HERE.
Outdoor Dining at Disney Storybook Treats

Best Outdoor Dining at Epcot

Epcot has always been, and probably will always be, the best food park in Disney World. Home to the World Showcase, you can gobble up food from all over the world. All of my best outdoor dining at Disney World options for Epcot are located in the World Showcase.

Now grab a drink (alcohol not required) and go eat your way around the world while dining al fresco the entire time!

Outdoor Dining at Disney Epcot

The outdoor dining at Disney options located in Epcot are a good mix between table service and quick dining, so you are more likely to be able to have a table service meal outside in Epcot.

Rose and Crown Dining Room

Rose and Crown is located in the United Kingdom Pavilion of the World Showcase and is always one of the best dining options, indoors or outside. Rose and Crown also always has great outdoor dining with beautiful lagoon and firework views.

Rose and Crown is a table service restaurant serving up British fare. It also has outdoor shaded and covered dining right on the lagoon. Rose and Crown is also very vegetarian and vegan friendly so the perfect meal stop for anyone with a dietary restriction.
You can find the Rose and Crown menu HERE.
Please Note! Rose and Crown Dining Room will be closing for refurbishment in winter/spring 2021 so please check the website before you plan a meal here! I will update this once the refurbishment is complete. If the Dining Room is closed during your visit, stop by the Rose and Crown Pub and grab a drink and pub snack to eat outside.
Outdoor Dining at Disney Rose and Crown

Spice Road Table

Spice Road Table is located in the Morocco Pavilion of the World Showcase and is another fan favorite for all dining options. Spice Road Table is another table service restaurant with both indoor and outdoor dining options.
Spice Road Table has a shaded outdoor seating area and the views are of the beautiful Morocco Pavilion. Serving up Mediterranean food you will find dolmas, kafta, and homemade naan on the menu here.
Outdoor Dining at Disney Spice Road Table

La Cantina de San Angel

La Cantina de San Angel, located in the Mexico Pavilion of the World Showcase, is one of my favorite stops when drinking around the world. This quick service location has an amazing covered patio right on the lagoon. This is also one of the best places to eat Gluten-Free AT Disney World!
La Cantina de San Angel has some of my favorite food in the World Showcase. You will find guacamole, tacos, and, of course, amazing margaritas at this stop! Check out the full menu HERE.

Tutto Italia Ristorante

Located in the Italy Pavilion, Tutto Italia Ristorante, is a table service restaurant focused on traditional Italian dishes. You can make a reservation for Tutto Italia Ristorante and I recommend it all year round. You will need to request an outdoor table at check in as this restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining.
Tutto Italia Ristorante has an Annual Passholder discount and serves lunch and dinner. Tutto Italia has a large outdoor covered patio with roll down canopy walls that can be lowered in the rain or to block sun.
The menus at Tutto Italia Ristorante are a bit spendy, so I would consider this a fancy Disney meal.
Outdoor Dining at Disney Tutto Italia

Katsura Grill

Katsura Grill is located in the Japan Pavilion of the World Showcase and also has a covered patio area. This is also another quick service location in the World Showcase and a perfect stop for a snack and drink as you travel the world.
You can find sushi on the menu here, but I encourage you to try something a bit more traditional – the Tonkotsu ramen, okonomiyaki fries, and chicken curry are all really good. Katsura Grill tops my list for not only a best outdoor dining at Disney option, it is also a top quick service restaurant in Disney World for me!
Check out the menu HERE and don’t forget the sake.
Outdoor Dining at Disney Katsura Food

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

Regal Eagle Smokehouse is located in the American Adventure, in the middle of the World Showcase, and is super new! This quick service stop serves up BBQ and American beer and wine. With only one vegetarian/vegan item (salad does not count), this is for the meat lovers.
Regal Eagle Smokehouse has tables – both shaded and with umbrellas. You can find the menu HERE.
Based on it’s location in the middle of the World Showcase, this is a good stop during your around the world adventure. Plus, being a new addition with outdoor seating it’s a good pick for your outdoor dining at Epcot stop.
Outdoor Dining at Disney American Adventure

Via Napoli

Via Napoli, located in the Italy Pavilion of the World Showcase, is a table service restaurant with limited outdoor tables. You will need to request an outdoor table when you check in, as they have indoor tables as well. Annual Passholders also get a discount when dining here.
Via Napoli serves up pastas and salads, but the brick oven pizzas are really the focus. Check out the Via Napoli menu HERE.
Outdoor Dining at Disney Via Napoli

Best Outdoor Dining at Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios has the fewest outdoor dining options at Disney right now, but they are slowly reopening more and more stops each month. There is only one table service option with outdoor dining, but there a few quick service options too.

Backlot Express

Backlot Express is located in Echo Lake at Hollywood Studios. This quick service stop has mobile ordering and a covered seating area.

Serving up American food, you can grab a reliable meal here like a burger or salad. Check out the menu HERE.

Outdoor Dining at Disney Backlot Express

Baseline Tap House is located in Grand Avenue at Hollywood Studios and is a new addition to the park! Baseline is a welcome new addition – serving up California beer and snacks. Think craft brew pub meets Disney.

Baseline Tap House is a quick service restaurant, but serves up drinks and snacks only – no entrees. There are outdoor tables for your outdoor dining at Disney needs.

Baseline Tap House’s menu is great for any beer fan for sure.

Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge

Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is the only table service restaurant in Hollywood Studios with outdoor dining right now. That being said, the only thing on this menu is drinks! If you want a cocktail, this is definitely your ideal Hollywood Studios break for outdoor dining.

Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is located in Hollywood Boulevard and has a lot of great outdoor seating. If you want food, think twice before waiting for a table here. If you want a cocktail break, definitely stop.

PizzeRizzo

PizzeRizzo, located in Grand Avenue, serves pizza, of course, and Italian subs. This quick service restaurant accepts mobile ordering and has two floors of outdoor covered dining.

PizzeRizzo is my pick for the best outdoor dining at Hollywood Studios for a family. Order ahead, grab a table outdoors, and enjoy your pizza in the shade. Don’t skip the cannoli for a treat at the end of your meal.

Check out the PizzeRixzzo menu HERE.

Outdoor Dining at Disney PizzeRizzo

Best Outdoor Dining at Animal Kingdom

The food at Animal Kingdom is amazing and continues to improve. Animal Kingdom is also a very outdoor-centric park. It makes sense that the outdoor dining at Animal Kingdom provides a lot of really good options.

Check out the full menu HERE.

Outdoor Dining at Disney Canteen

Pongu Pongu

Another great outdoor dining option in Pandora is Pongu Pongu. This quick service restaurant has the coolest drinks! Pongu Pongu is also a rare outdoor dining at Disney option that serves up breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner.

The menu is pretty small, but Pongu Pongu is a great snack stop and the drinks alone are worth it. Pongu Pongu does not technically have it’s own outdoor dining seating, but you can bring your food and drink over to the Canteen and sit in the outdoor dining area.

Check out the menus HERE.

Nomad Lounge & Cocktail Bar

Nomad Lounge, located on Discovery Island, right next to the famous Tiffins. Nomad Lounge & Cocktail Bar is a table service restaurant with covered tables located on the outside deck.
Nomad Lounge serves an Animal Kingdom melting pot – a bit of African, a bit of Asian, and a bit of Latin food. This is a lounge though so you will only see drinks and appetizers on the menu.
I think the appetizers here are more than enough to fill you up, especially if you get more than one and share, and the food is really good. Thinks drinks put it over the top.

Outdoor Dining at Disney Flame Tree

Yak and Yeti

Yak and Yeti is a table service restaurant, which accepts reservations, located in Asia in Animal Kingdom. Like many outdoor dining at Disney options, this restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining so you will need to request outdoor seating at check in.

There are tables with shade and coverage allowing you to escape the sun for your meal. Annual Passholders get a discount at Yak and Yeti as well.

The menu here is really big and is graced with a lot of really good Asian food – find it HERE. I think Yak and Yeti serves up some of the best food in Animal Kingdom so I am grateful for the outdoor option.
