Are you on the hunt for the best Hollywood Studios quick service restaurants? Look no further than this amazing, information-filled guide! Sometimes when you’re visiting a Disney Park, you’re looking for a quick bite to eat so you can get back to the amazing rides, shows, and character meet-and-greets. Sitting down for an hour or two for a meal seems to take too much time out of your day. After all, there’s just so much to do and see at the most magical place on earth! That’s what the Hollywood Studios quick service restaurants are for!
While there are many places to eat at Hollywood Studios, this list focuses on the fantastic options that you can grab in a hurry! Just because these Hollywood Studios counter service restaurants serve up your food quickly, that doesn’t mean that you won’t get to try some amazing bites of food. Snack on the delicious tater tot and nacho fusion dubbed “totchos” at Woody’s Lunch Box, try the Star Wars-inspired batuu-bon dessert at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, and savor some delicious pizza at PizzeRizzo.
What is Quick Service?
Quick Service restaurants at Disney are restaurants where you walk up to a counter and order food or eat cafeteria-style. You order the food, then either take it with you or find a table to eat it at. This is like fast food or fast casual food outside of Disney World.
These are great for when you don’t want to sit down at a restaurant and have a table service meal during your day. It takes less time to grab something to eat, and it will typically cost a lot less as well. Bonus: you don’t have to make a reservation to enjoy quick service either!
There are lots of quick service restaurants around Hollywood Studios, and since they are scattered around the park, you aren’t far from delicious food whether you’re in Galaxy’s Edge or on Sunset Boulevard.
One of the reasons we love quick service restaurants while at Hollywood Studios is that it’s a great way to eat cheap while in the parks. You can’t beat saving money and still having some of the best Hollywood Studios food.

17 Best (and Worst) Hollywood Studios Quick Service Restaurants You Must Try
Best Hollywood Studios Quick Service Restaurants
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
If you’re a Star Wars fan, a quick meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo should be on your list of things to do in Hollywood Studios. While experiencing the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and riding Rise of the Resistance are probably at the top of your list, the otherworldly food options at Docking Bay 7 should make it onto your Star Wars: Galaxy Edge bucket list as well. It also makes our list of the best overall places to eat at Disney World!
The most out-of-this-world Hollywood Studios quick service option is easily Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. Located in a working hangar, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo gets creative with its food options. (After all, they are from another galaxy, right?) If you’re feeling adventurous, try the Batuuan Beef and Crispy Topato Stir-fry, the Pirjanad Hot Chicken Tip Yip, and then Smoked Kaadu Pork Ribs. The food is very hearty and filling too, making it some of the best quick service dinner at Hollywood Studios.
Somehow, even with all of these crazy yet tasty concoctions, this Hollywood Studios dining option still manages to offer a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, and that makes it one of our favorites when it comes to Hollywood Studios quick service dining.
Bonus: You can mobile order here to make your experience even faster!
ABC Commissary
Want to get a small glimpse of what life is like working for a major television company? Head to ABC Commissary for one of your meals at Hollywood Studios. Modeled after a real, functioning ABC Studios cafeteria, this television poster-filled eatery lets you in on just a little bit of the magic behind the silver screen and you’ll love the Art Deco touches around the restaurant.
ABC Commissary has recently done a complete overhaul of their menu, and in addition to some traditional theme park food, you don’t want to miss out on the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese, Shrimp Tacos, the Mediterranean Salad, and even the plant-based California Burger. These fresh and unique menu items make this a great place to grab a meal, and you can have the best quick service lunch at Hollywood Studios here.
Bonus: you can mobile order here too!
Catalina Eddie’s
If you’re looking for a fantastic yet budget-friendly Hollywood Studios counter service option, Catalina Eddie’s may be the perfect choice for you! With no singular item priced above $15, you’ll be able to fill your belly without having to worry about the balance of your bank account. Order the personal pizzas, the Caesar salad with chicken, or even the seasonal dessert just before you rush in to catch a showing of the Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage show right across the bustling Sunset Boulevard.
Woody’s Lunch Box
One of the most popular parts of the park – due to both its rides and its food options – is Toy Story Land. Situated not far from Hollywood Studios’ favorites like Toy Story Mania and Slinky Dog Dash, Woody’s Lunch Box has secured a prime location in the park. As one of the best quick service restaurants at Hollywood Studios, Woody’s Lunch Box makes a child’s dream meal come to life.
Serving up kid-favorites such as grilled cheese sandwiches and “totchos” – a magical combination of tater tots and nachos – every child will be sure to devour whichever item appears in front of them. Plus, if you or your little ones happen to be vegetarian, this eatery has a few vegetarian options as well.
One of the most popular items at Woody’s Lunch Box is the Lunch Box Tart, and you don’t want to skip these! They come in several flavors and there’s always a fun seasonal one to try.
Another reason Woody’s Lunch Box is one of the best Hollywood Studios quick service restaurants is that it offers breakfast! There aren’t many breakfast options at Hollywood Studios, but breakfast here is DELICIOUS. You can grab a Lunch Box Tart, a grilled cheese sandwich, or our suggestion, the Breakfast Bowl with “potato barrels” and scrambled eggs covered in country gravy. Don’t skip the best quick service breakfast at Hollywood Studios!
PizzeRizzo
Everyone loves pizza. It’s basically a universal statement. Pizza is amazing. PizzeRizzo is one of the newer Hollywood Studios quick service restaurants, and it is pizza heaven! Not far from another one of the best Italian restaurants in Hollywood Studios, Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, PizzeRizzo serves up a variety of pizza options, including meat lover’s pizza, vegetarian pizza, and the classic, no-nonsense cheese pizza. Somehow, between artfully tossing rounds of pizza dough up in the air, the chefs at this Hollywood Studios eatery also serve up a couple of dessert options, including a few kinds of cannolis.
On top of all of that, PizzeRizzo is one of the most accommodating Hollywood studios counter service options. There are options for guests with gluten, egg, shellfish, milk, nut, or soy allergies. They have even added a plant-based “sausage” sub, making this one of the best Hollywood Studios quick service restaurants.
Fairfax Fare
Fairfax Fare has recently done a complete overhaul of their menu, and the new choices are just as delicious as their last menu. They now offer unique, specialty hot dogs – as well as a plain one for those less adventurous eaters. You don’t want to miss out on the California BLTA Hot Dog – complete with crushed ranch tortilla chips and avocado. Or you might enjoy the German-inspired Pretzel Dog or the Truffle Bacon Macaroni & Cheese Hot Dog. We warned you these weren’t your average hot dogs.
While here you can grab parmesan chips or pickled vegetables as a side, or even a seasonal treat. For those who are vegetarian or vegan, Fairfax Fare offers a plant-based Chicago-Style “hot dog.” The unique options here make this one of the best options for Hollywood Studios fast food.
Epic Eats
There are so many classic theme park foods: giant turkey legs, cinnamon-topped churros, soft pretzels. But there is one that stands out from the rest: the fried, sweet goodness of a warm funnel cake.
If you happen to be looking for funnel cakes galore, Epic Eats is the place for you to take a break for a bite to eat. Parked just outside of Epic Stunt Spectacular, Epic Eats tops off its famous funnel cakes with everything from strawberry syrup to powdered sugar to vanilla soft serve. If you’re looking for something a little bit cooler, this rustic-looking dining option also serves up soft-serve in waffle cones and root beer floats!
Hollywood Scoops
Hollywood Scoops has found its place on the bustling Sunset Boulevard. This little storefront provides some of the best quick service in Hollywood Studios if you’re looking for a sweet, cool treat, because every single item on the menu comes with a frozen scoop of ice cream! The apple crisp à la mode and brownie sundae are sure to put a smile on your face. After all, who doesn’t have a sweet tooth?
The only con of Hollywood Scoops is that the seating is quite limited, as it is shared with Fairfax Fare.
Ronto Roasters
If you’re looking for a Star Wars-themed Hollywood Studios quick service option but don’t want to deal with the busy-ness of Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, head over to Ronto Roasters! Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there are so many tasty dishes for you to try! For lunch and dinner, don’t miss out on the traditional Ronto Wrap or the Kyryll Pork Rinds. If you’re plant-based, get the Zuchii Wrap here – it’s delicious!
If you’re rope-dropping Rise of the Resistance, then head here for breakfast! Come get the Overnight Oats or Ronto Morning Wrap. This is a great place for a quick, hearty bite to eat whether it’s for breakfast or lunch, and it’s definitely one of our favorite Hollywood Studios dining options.
Rosie’s All-American Cafe
Sunset Boulevard is home to so many of the best quick service options at Hollywood Studios, and Rosie’s All-American Cafe is no exception. Decked out in patriotic red, white, and blue, the best option for traditional theme park food at Hollywood Studios is, hands down, Rosie’s All-American Cafe.
For meat eaters, there’s the option to chow down on a chili cheese foot-long hot dog or a fresh angus cheeseburger. There’s even the Rosie’s All-American Salad – topped with Mojo Pulled Pork and a variety of zesty toppings. On the other hand, for Disney’s plant-based visitors, they’ve got a delicious dish for you as well: a plant-based Lobster Roll. This unique option includes hearts of palm, celery and apples, and a creamy dressing all on a bun.
Even though it’s traditional theme park food, everything at Rosie’s is a little more elevated, making it one of the best Hollywood Studios quick service restaurants. You won’t regret grabbing a meal here!
Backlot Express Restaurant
Tucked away between Star Wars – The Adventures Continue and Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, the Backlot Express Restaurant is a hidden gem of Hollywood Studios quick service dining. The Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, Cuban Sandwich, Southwest Salad, and variety of cheeseburgers are delicious. You don’t want to miss out on what could be the best quick service lunch at Hollywood Studios.
While here, grab a seasonal treat and unique non-alcoholic drink, and don’t forget to mobile order because it fills up fast here! Grab a seat first, and then you’ll be sure to get some air-condition!
Basically, the Backlot Express Restaurant is a great place to escape the heat, avoid the crowds, and dig into some good food. What more could you ask for?
Worst Hollywood Studios Quick Service Restaurants
Dockside Diner
Dockside Diner has a very small menu, and the food might be a little too adventurous and expensive when compared to other choices at Hollywood Studios. The menu has nachos, smoked fish dip, shrimp salad roll, and chipotle chicken salad rolls on it.
Those with picky eaters and little ones might want to skip this restaurant, as its menu isn’t exciting, and it isn’t some of the best quick service dining in Hollywood Studios. You would do better going elsewhere.
The Trolley Car Café
When you go to Disney World, you want every part of your trip to be something special. The rides, the shows, the character meet-and-greets, the food – you expect them to be something amazing (and rightly so)! So, the Trolley Car Café is a bit of a letdown to say the least. With essentially the same menu as a Starbucks that can be found on every block in the United States, the Trolley Car Café isn’t serving up anything special. And don’t expect the expensive $6-per-drink price tag to disappear just because this location happens to be in the happiest place on earth.
That said, if you happen to be in desperate need of a caffeine boost during your time in the park, you know where to get it.
The Market
Not far from Fairfax Fare is the Market. This Hollywood Studios quick service option is more of a snack cart than an actual place to grab a meal. So, if you’re looking for pretzels and churros, the Market isn’t a terrible option. However, if you’re hoping to get a dish to fill your tummy for a few hours, refer to one of the other recommendations on this list. This is a skip for meals when it comes to what to eat at Hollywood Studios.
KRNR The Rock Station
Nothing really sets KRNR The Rock Station apart from the other Hollywood Studios counter service restaurants. Its food options are quite limited, as they only serve chips, cookies, and frozen cokes/coke floats. If you’re looking for more filling food, visit one of our favorites on this list instead.
Kat Saka’s Kettle
Located in Galaxy’s Edge, Kat Saka’s Kettle is more of a snack location than somewhere to grab a quick service meal. They only offer the Outpost Popcorn Mix and Buttered Blue Grains. These are fun, unique snacks but that’s it. Look elsewhere in Galaxy’s Edge for a good meal. Both Docking Bay 7 and Ronto Roasters offer some of the best counter service at Hollywood Studios – not Kat Saka’s.
Anaheim Produce
While Anaheim Produce offers fresh fruit and some of the healthier snacks in Hollywood Studios, they also offer Mickey Pretzels, churros, and other classic theme park treats. And, yes, these things are delicious, but there are so many better choices in Hollywood Studios.
You would do better to grab meal at one of the best Hollywood Studios quick service restaurants, and giving Anaheim Produce a skip unless you are in need of some fresh fruit.
I hope you enjoyed reading about some of the best Hollywood Studios quick service restaurants (and learning about the ones you should avoid too). What do you think? Do you agree or disagree? Aubrie
I ate at ABC Commissary and Pizze Rizzo on my recent trip and I liked them both! I really wanted to try Woody’s Lunchbox, but it was pouring outside so we had to duck into an indoor restaurant for dinner!
disneytrippers
Oh no!!!! There is always next time! Woody’s is nice but of course not when it is raining!
