Best Things to Do in EPCOT

EPCOT is a HUGE park and can feel overwhelming, but don’t fear! These 15 of our favorite things will help you plan your day accordingly and make sure you don’t miss out on the fun while there. We have the best things to do in EPCOT whether you are visiting World Showcase, World Celebration, World Discovery, or World Nature.

La Cava De Tequila

Located inside of the large pyramid in the Mexico Pavilion, visiting La Cava De Tequila is one of the best things to do in EPCOT for adults. Here you can relax in the air conditioning, listen at the bustling crowds outside the bar, and grab expertly created adult beverages.

This is one of our favorite things to do in EPCOT because it’s a chill place to get a drink in the World Showcase, and everything on the menu is delicious. The specialty drinks are great, and the bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and will point you in the right direction when looking for the perfect drink to unwind at the end of a long park day.

Club Cool

Recently updated, Club Cool isn’t just a great place to buy a Coca-Cola or some of their merch – it’s a great place to try sodas from all around the world. For free! This is located in World Celebration, right near Creations Shop and Connections Cafe, and it’s a must-do on a park day!

There are 8 different sodas to choose from, and you can try them all as many times as you like – which is why this is one of our favorite free things to do in EPCOT. Kids and adults alike will enjoy trying all these flavors, and don’t skip “Beverly” – it’s tradition!

Drink Around the World

A lot of people head to EPCOT just for this reason, and we can’t disagree with them! “Drinking around the world” means grabbing a different adult beverage in each of the countries of the World Showcase. This is a great way to try traditional drinks from each country, as well as it’s one of the best things to do in EPCOT for adults.

If you plan on only having a few drinks instead of getting one from each country, there are a few standouts you don’t want to miss! The Grand Marnier Slush at Le Vins des Chefs de France is a fan favorite, made of Grand Marnier, Rum, Grey Goose orange, and Orange Juice and is super slushy and delicious.

The Violet Sake over in the Japan Pavilion is another favorite, and this fruity, fresh drink is at the Garden House stand. Look hard, because it’s easy to miss and you don’t want to skip this drink!

Behind the Seeds Tour

This walking tour takes place over in the Land Pavilion and gives you a chance to explore the greenhouse of the “Living with the Land” ride. Great for all ages, this tour is one of the best things to do in EPCOT. It’s fun, and educational, and is a great way to take a break from some of the park craziness.

This isn’t a free tour – it costs $35 per person – but if you can swing it then we highly recommend it! Go learn about the greenhouse, the different plants, and how Disney takes the plants they grow and turns them into food that they serve all over Disney World! This is one of the best activities in EPCOT, and we suggest you ride “Living with the Land” first to give yourself a head start!

Ride Cosmic Rewind

If you are a lover of thrill rides, then don’t miss EPCOT’s newest addition – Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This thrilling, fun, fast-paced ride lets you become a Guardian of the Galaxy and you try to save the world while rocketing through the ride with 1 of 6 popular songs blaring around you.

This is one of the best things to do in EPCOT and is definitely one of the most fun! From start to finish this ride is an adventure but be warned: it can be tough on those with motion sickness. Either take precautions, or hopefully you’re someone who won’t be bothered by this ride, and you can enjoy one of the best attractions in EPCOT.

Kidcot

This activity is made just for the kids and is a great way to get them interested in EPCOT! This park can seem very adult at times, but there’s actually a lot for little ones to do there. And visiting the Kidcot stations is one of those things.

There’s a Kidcot station in each of the countries in World Showcase, and littles can get baggies of activities, stickers, and country-specific information to take with them. This is one of the best things to do in EPCOT with kids because they get a little free souvenir from each country, and these little goodies will help keep them busy in line or at restaurants.

Eat at Via Napoli

If you’re looking for some of the best pizza at Disney World, then make sure you grab a meal at Via Napoli. Located in the Italy Pavilion of the World Showcase, Via Napoli is an authentic Italian restaurant that specializes in pizza and classic Italian dishes. There’s a huge open kitchen where you can watch your pizza being made in one of the massive stone ovens.

The food here is delicious, and while the whole menu is good, we recommend the pizza of course! Get one of the many made to order pies and then take a peek at the stone ovens – they all have faces and are named after the active volcanoes in Italy. The attention to detail and great food makes this one of the best places to visit in EPCOT.
